Honore J. (Politi) Gallant

Honore J. Gallant (Politi), age 48, loving wife of 19 years to Douglas Gallant passed away on Saturday morning October 6, 2018 of heart disease complications.

She was born April 18, 1970 in Springfield, MA. She was a graduate of Manchester High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1994, and in 2006 received an Associates Degree from Holyoke community college in veterinary and animal science. In 2006 she also was certified by the state of Connecticut as a Veterinary Technician. She had a personally fulfilling job at Bolton Veterinary Hospital (an extended family).

Honore was an adventurous soul, who liked challenges and getting as much out of life as she was able. She loved her job and the people she worked with. She lived a sober life and believed in helping others. She became a member of Faith Baptist Church in Manchester and was active in service to the church.

A loving wife, daughter and sister, she leaves behind a husband Douglas Gallant of Manchester, parents Hellen and Phil Masse of Jensen Beach FL, sister Hellen Oltheten of PA, brother in law Joe Oltheten of PA, brother Peter Grover of NJ, mother-in-law Gerry Haiko of Weathersfield CT, as well as a huge extended family from work, church and AA.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 5:00 PM followed by a reception at Faith Baptist Church, 52 Lake St. Manchester .
