Frederick Rubio (39), born and raised in Hartford, CT was affectionally known by all as Fred. He was the youngest son of Freddy and Norma Rubio and the loving brother of Jennie Rodriguez and Brenda Roberts. His tragic passing on May 15, 2022 broke the hearts of many.
Despite his life-long struggles, Fred always strived to better himself and was a self-taught tattoo artist and later went on to earn an Associate Degree in social services as well as become a certified hair dresser. Fred was never afraid to seek out new ventures. He always worked hard to provide for himself as well as for his mother and anyone else who needed a helping hand.
Fred loved others selflessly and profoundly, never expecting anything in return.
He was the best uncle to Makayla, Brody, Ryan and Lia. They will never forget his playful demeanor, his fantastic ability to relate to them and his generous and extravagant ways!
Fred was just as adoring to all his younger cousins, readily expressing love, affection and most of all...protection.
We loved Fred with all our hearts but we now know that was not enough to shield him from the dangers of this world. We miss him deeply.
