Dylan Thomas Cauley

Dylan Thomas Cauley, born 11/04/1977, passed away unexpectedly on 10/08/2023. Dylan was 45 years old. He was raised on Cape Cod, MA and Sarasota, FL.  

Dylan is survived by his father Patrick Cauley of Winthrop, MA, his sister Christine Mapp as well as her husband Nick and their 4 sons of Leesburg, VA. Patrick and Christine were his friends, counselors, and supporters who provided Dylan with countless opportunities & experiences that helped shape him into the person he became.  

Dylan had many aunts and uncles as well as a “band of cousins” who enjoyed stirring the pot & participating in shenanigans. He loved them all dearly. Dylan was a lifelong New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed watching Boston College football, riding his motorcycle, and flying his model planes.  

At the time of his passing, Dylan was the CEO of Safety Fit Corporation, a nationwide medical testing company he formed in 2014. Dylan spent many months a year traveling the country with his team who were also his best friends.  

Dylan was a kind and sensitive person. He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor.  He will truly be missed.  

The family hosted a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 11th, 2023, to honor and remember a man who spoke truth, loved others, enjoyed a great wise crack, and people, not things.
