Christopher M. Scheffler

Christopher Michael Scheffler, 48 of Manchester passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021 with his wife by his side. He was born November 17, 1972 in Rockville CT, the son of Glenn W. & Beverly (Kistler) Scheffler. He graduated from Tolland High School (class of ’91). He attended Penn State University (Hazelton Campus) majoring in “Beer 101” before earning an associate’s degree from Manchester Community College. He was also an Eagle Scout.

On September 2015 he married the love of his life & soul mate Rebecca Przekopski Scheffler.

Christopher was employed for over 26 years at UPS starting as a pre-loader, moving up the ranks to a driver & then as an on car Supervisor.

He was an avid NASCAR fan. Just loving the sport, his favorite driver was Dale, JR driving the #88. He followed all New England teams: Boson Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins & the throwback Hartford Whalers. He had a passion for music, taught himself to play the guitar. Loved to “air drum” & took any opportunity to sing karaoke, noting each artist & song title. Quoting movie lines was another trait he had. Pinochle was a favorite card game. He loved to take vacations, any place near the ocean whether it was to Maine, Cape Cod, an island or on a cruise. Enjoying the time with his wife & trying to find the “STOP” button.

Besides his wife & parents he leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & 2 nephews. He was predeceased by his Brother, James.

Family will receive friends at Manchester Funeral Home, 142 E Center St. Manchester, CT from 5:30-8:30 on Friday March 12, 2021.
