Bernhardt Satryb Obituary

Bernhardt Louis (Bernie) Satryb, 96 of Palm Harbor, FL, left this world on June 4, 2021.  He was married 49 years to the love his life, his sweetheart MaryAnn Pazianos Satryb.   He grew up in Rockville youngest of 10 children of Bernhardt and Marie (Fiske) Satryb and lived in Rockville or Manchester over 60 years. 

Bernie was office manager for the original Scranton Motors on Union St in Rockville long ago.  He later worked in accounting for Moriarity Lincoln Mercury and lastly at Cardinal Buick until they retired to Florida.  During retirement Bernie and MaryAnn gave hundreds of hours as volunteers at Mease Hospital in various roles including President of the Auxilliary,  management of the gift shop and many charitable endeavors. 

Besides his devoted wife he is survived by his sister Marguerite (Maggie) DuPrey of Enfield, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and scores of friends.  In heaven he joins his brothers Arthur (Helen), Albert (Joan), Harry (Ellen), William (Rose) and sisters Gertrude (Carl) Suita, Lillian (Thomas) Topping and Louise (Hamilton) Mullen.   

There will be a Graveside service on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at East Cemetery at 11:00a.m. 

Donations in his memory suggested to Saint Bernard’s Church, Blessed Sacrament Ministry for the Sick, 20 School St, Vernon, CT 06066 or Mease Hospital Community Charitable Foundation, 1200 Druid Rd., Clearwater, FL 33756.
