Angelo Pedrazzini Obituary

Angelo Carlo Pedrazzini of Manchester, CT, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 94.   He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Dora Keeney Pedrazzini.

Angelo was born in Hartford, CT on March 21, 1928 to Pietro and Margherita Pedrazzini.  He served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged in 1952.  He went on to work at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years until his retirement in 1991.

Angelo’s Masonic career began on September 23, 1969 when he was raised as a Master Mason of Lafayette Lodge #100. He served in numerous chairs throughout the years, including Worshipful Master in 1979, 1982 and again in 1990.  After the mergers of Lafayette Lodge #100, Hartford Lodge #88, and Oriental Evergreen Lodge #114 into what is now known as Hartford-Evergreen No. 88, Angelo served as Worshipful Master again in 1997 and 2007.  He was an Associate Grand Marshall for the Grand Lodge of the State of Connecticut from 1992-1994, as well as serving on the Action Programs Committee for the Grand Lodge and volunteer service with the Masonic Chip Program.  He was a founding member of the Swords of Bunker Hill Nutmeg Order #106, as well as a member of the Royal Arch Masons, Knights Templar, Wolcott Council No 1 R. & S.M., Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Valley of Hartford, CT (32nd Degree Mason), Pythagoras Chapter No. 17 R.A.M, Washington Commandery No. 1, Order of the Silver Trowel, and the Past Masters Association.  He was a Past-President of Sphinx Temple Circus Associates, in addition to Past President and Past District Deputy of Charter Oak Chapter Order of DeMolay.  In 2019 he received his 50 year pin as member of the Masonic  Fraternity.

In addition to his Masonic service, Angelo served on the board of the Clarence Jeffers Trust for many years.  He volunteered with the Hockanum River Linear Park Committee and was a member of South United Methodist Church.

Angelo is survived by his son, Michael Pedrazzini, daughter, Lisa (David) Fritz, grandsons, John (Rachel) Fritz, Joseph Fritz and Jacob Fritz.

Visitation will be held from 9am till 10:00am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Manchester Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester, CT.  A memorial service with the masonic ritual will begin at 10am that morning.  Funeral services will be held at 11am at South United Methodist Church, 1226 Main St., Manchester, CT, followed by burial in the West Cemetery, Manchester, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA  01104.
