Roy W. Culver

Roy William Culver, July 30, 1942 - August 27, 2024


Roy William Culver passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, at 82 years old. Roy was born in Buckland, CT and lived there his whole life. Roy served his country in the Marine Corps for four years. He worked as a truck driver and later in life at Southern Auto Auction. Roy enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed working on cars, going to car shows, and watching and listening to NASCAR. Roy was a devoted family man. Roy was married to Karen Culver for 55 wonderful years. He is survived by his wife and his children: Anita Culver Hilinski and her husband Kevin of Coventry, CT and Jason Culver and his wife Liz of Manchester, CT. Roy is also survived by his three grandchildren, Reagan, Sierra, and Madison. Most of all, Roy loved his family and his two dogs, Willy and Pedro.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Manchester Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester, CT, from 10 to 11:30 AM. A private graveside service will immediately follow at Buckland Cemetery.
