Marvin H. Weil

Marvin H. Weil, 69 years of age, of West Hartford, CT died on November 23, 2018.  Born on October 24, 1949 in Hartford and raised in Cheshire, he was the son of the late Luitpold and Irma Weil. Marvin graduated from Central Connecticut State College, and worked for the Hartford Insurance Group as a computer programmer until his retirement after 28 years. He was also active for many years as a member of the Brotherhood at Temple Beth Sholom in Manchester. He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn (Lashin) Weil, his son, Jacob S. Weil, and his sister, Carolyn Kelsey of Cheshire. Marvin will be greatly missed by his brothers-in-law, Terry Lashin and Paul Lashin, and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Lashin and Debby Butler, as well as his extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Beth Sholom B'Nai Israel Synagogue, 400 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at Beth Sholom Cemetery on Autumn St. in Manchester. Shiva will be observed Tuesday, November 27th thru Thursday, November 29th from 6PM-9PM at 60 Henley Way, West Hartford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at https://www.lls.org/ , or Beth Sholom B'nai Israel synagogue at https://www.myshul.org/ .
