John Michael Lapointe

John Michael LaPointe, 70, of East Hartford, CT passed with his devoted wife by his side on August 13, 2022. The son of the late Robert LaPointe and Anita (Martin) Pinette and her husband Sylvio Pinette. Loved and respected by many, he earned his Masters Degree from Central Connecticut College in Design Engineering. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney in both Middletown and East Hartford, CT until the time of his passing. John was kind and intelligent - he loved learning. He was a master of all trades and worked hard at improving and taking care of his home. He loved gardening and had a green thumb. He was also an organ donor recipient in 2020.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Dori (Flagg) LaPointe. His children Micheal of Newington, CT, Nicole and her daughters, Corey and Olivia from CT, as well as Dori's children, Jordan Hilton of Dayville, CT. Tasha Daqenais and her husband Nick of Thompson, CT, Jarvis Hilton of East Hartford, CT, and his two sons, Clark and Adrian to whom he was Pepré. He also leaves behind his canine companions Mitze and Remey.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
