Joanne Marie Keeney

Joanne Marie (Stibinger) Keeney, 68, rested from her earthly life surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on October 22, 2017. She was born March 28, 1949, Gloversville, NY, the daughter of Esther M. Pickett and Joseph Stibinger.

Joanne loved her family, travel, Elvis Presley, New York Yankees and her pet dog Melky.

Joanne was preceded in death by her mother Esther Mae (Pickett) Longmore and father Joseph Stibinger, sister Janice Dube, brother John Stibinger, and sister-in-law (best friend) Helen Keeney. She is survived by her husband Charles Robert Keeney, children, Arthur James Totten III, Dawn (Paul) Olson, Robert C. (Jennifer) Keeney and Valerie (Robert) Azzerelli, brother Cecil Kennedy, sisters, Darlene (Frederic) Lee, Deborah (Michael) Wilson, Robin Roberts, Patricia Richards, Cindy (Russell) Holman, Beth Ann (Steve) Thayer, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Step-mother Margaret Stibinger, brother-in-law Ed Keeney, and sisters-in-law Theresa Arlin, and Joyce Gionfriddo, along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00-8:00PM at Manchester Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester, CT. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00AM, Friday, October 27, 2017 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury, CT.
