Hubert Duley, Jr.

Hubert McChesney Duley, Jr., 82 of Manchester, CT died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 after a brief illness at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington, DC in 1936, he was the son of Hubert McChesney Sr. and Audrey (Speake) Duley. He worked for many years in Air Craft Maintenance for US Airways. Hubert served in the Military Police with the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons Hubert Duley III and his wife Mary Jane Lara Duley and William Allen "Billy" Duley and his wife Jean; daughters Mary Anne Morin and Jennifer Strumpfler and her husband Greg. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Hubert was preceded in death by two wives, Mary Elizabeth Duley and later in life, Margaret Jean Duley as well as his parents, sister, brother and his daughter Jacqueline Houck.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 41 Park Street, Manchester, CT on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
