Brendan W. Johnson of Bolton, CT. A beloved son, friend, and brother passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 27. Born on October 14, 1997.
He leaves behind his mother and caregiver Kimberly Johnson, his father Timothy Johnson, and his brother Evan Johnson of Bolton CT. He also leaves behind grandmothers Jane McDonough of Storrs CT. Maryann Johnson of Vernon CT. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
He shared a special bond with his mother, Kimberly, and his father, Timothy, who supported him in all his endeavors. His family was his stronghold, and the memories they created together will continue to provide comfort and joy to those he left behind.
Brendan lived fighting a lifelong battle with duchenne muscular dystrophy. Although he suffered greatly he had many hobbies and enjoyed spending time with his numerous pets. He had a love of trucks, and ATV’s, enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time in his man cave. He liked being in charge of projects around the house and driving his wheelchair through trails.
Though his time with us was far too short, Brendan's impact was profound. He approached every day with an open heart and a sense of wonder, reminding us all to cherish the simple pleasures in life. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and the power of a smile to brighten the darkest of days.
As we say goodbye to Brendan, we celebrate the light he brought into our lives. We will hold dear the lessons he taught us through his example: to be compassionate, to be curious, and to be grateful for every moment. Brendan W. Johnson may have departed from this world, but he will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding star in the firmament of our memories.
