Bertrand Jean Guy Laflamme

We're heartbroken to share that our dad, Bertrand Laflamme, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

There's no easy way to say goodbye to someone who meant so much, but we're grateful that his passing was calm and without pain.

Our dad had a gift for making people laugh-often with a joke that was a little off-color, a little unexpected, and always delivered with perfect timing. He loved to stir the pot in the funniest ways, just to see people smile.

He had an enormous heart and would do anything for the people he loved. He was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, especially with a cocktail in hand, music playing, and a bonfire crackling nearby. He loved to dance to the oldies, tell stories, tease us all, and soak in the simple joys of life. He also loved getting lost in his western books-always up for another adventure on the page.

Per his wishes, there won't be a funeral service, and he asked to be cremated. We'll be honoring him in our own ways and holding onto the hope that he's now with our mom, the love of his life, in heaven-dancing, laughing, and watching over us.
