Barry S. Chambers, 81, beloved husband of Priscilla G. Chambers, of Bolton passed away on November 1, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital.
He was born in Manchester, CT to Clarence and Olive Smith Chambers. On September 21st, 1968 he was married to Priscilla Gibson of the Priscilla Gibson School of Dance Arts.
Barry is survived by his wife Priscilla of 44 years, his son, Christopher, wife Barbara and their daughter, Olive, as well as his sister Claire, her husband Richard and nieces Rachael and Stephanie.
He graduated from Howell Cheney Tech, going on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Education from Central Connecticut State University. Barry was employed by the Town of Manchester Water Department for over 30 years. He served proudly in the National Guard forming several lifelong friendships. Barry was well known as a craftsman and gardener, working in metal, wood, glass and visual media. He was a member of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church Manchester, CT.
A memorial service will be held at Manchester Funeral Home in Manchester, CT on Friday November 11th. Calling Hours from 1pm to 3pm with a service to follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
