Austin (Bud) A. Weiman, Jr.

Austin (Bud) A. Weiman, Jr., 71, of Rocky Mount, NC formerly of Manchester and Vernon, CT, passed away on March 18, 2018. He was the son of Austin A. Weiman, Sr. and Edna (Cordy) Weiman. He graduated from Manchester High School and served in the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam Veteran. Bud was an optician in the Hartford area and in North Carolina for over 40 years until his retirement in North Carolina. Bud was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of Fin, Fur & Feather game club in Chaplin, CT for many years.

Bud leaves his wife Bonnie Weiman and his children, Jackie, Tanya, Eric and Meghan; three step-children Gabrielle, Raina and R.J. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Carlton and Claudia Weiman of Windsor, CT, and their two sons, along with several grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be held Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at Manchester Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester, CT. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the funeral home, burial to follow at Valley Falls Cemetery in Vernon, CT.
