I am sorry for your loss “Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father who loved us and gave everlasting comfort your hearts and make you firm in ever good deed and word” ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17 I hope this helps.

I can still remember diagramming sentence structure in Mr. Mullaney's classes, and turning in the weekly journals he had us keep. As a teacher, he no doubt felt he needed to be tough on us. This was East Hartford, after all. I was fortunate enough to know Bob as the editor of The Gazette many years later. I probably would not have been admitted to Trinity College without the recommendation of Bob Mullaney. But my admiration and respect for my former teacher will always be with me, and much more enduring than a shared alma mater. Godspeed, Mr. Mullaney.

M regrets, John, to you and your family for your loss. Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful man, who lived a full and rich life, just not as long as you would have wished. Hopefully you have lots of really great memories and lots of loved ones who share your grief and remember him with love and affection.

I worked with Bob for several years in his volunteer role at Trinity. He was kind, thoughtful and always a true gentleman. I'm saddened to hear of his passing and while I will miss seeing him at Trinity football games I will continue to remember him fondly. Rest in peace, Bob.
